Nextera Packaging to move HQ to planned White Bear Township project
Endeavor Development plans to break ground this month on a 100,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for a food packaging company.
The build-to-suit property in White Bear Township is being constructed for Vadnais Heights-based Nextera Packaging as part of Endeavor's planned business park called Park 35E. The Edina-based developer expects the park to eventually span 400,000 square feet across four buildings.

CF Moto buys Plymouth headquarters from Endeavor Development
Chinese motorsports company CFMOTO has paid $18.1 million for its newly completed U.S. headquarters at 5005 Nathan Lane N. in Plymouth.
Established in Hangzhou, China, in 1989, CFMOTO now is in more than 60 countries and has been in the United States since 2002, according to its website. It established its U.S. headquarters in Plymouth in 2007.
Endeavor acquired the property from Plymouth-based United Hardware Distributing Co.
Minneapolis-based Mohagen Hansen designed the project, while R.J. Ryan Construction in Mendota Heights was the general contractor.
The building has nine docks, two drive-in doors and 28 feet of clear height. It’s one block west of Highway 169, with visibility from Schmidt Lake Road and Nathan Lane. The new headquarters features sales, marketing, vehicle development, design, parts and accessories, tech support and domestic shipping and receiving departments.
CFMOTO vehicle lines currently are manufactured in Thailand and China, with plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Mexico in 2024.

Medical-device manufacturer Nextern Inc. plans to consolidate its 225 employees into a new corporate headquarters in the Arbor Lakes Business Park in Maple Grove.
Medical-device manufacturer Nextern Inc. plans to consolidate its 225 employees into a new corporate headquarters in the Arbor Lakes Business Park in Maple Grove.
Previously referred to as “Project Next” in Maple Grove city documents, Nextern’s new headquarters will be located amongst three industrial buildings planned by Edina developer Endeavor Development. Endeavor broke ground on the new $25 million building May 1, said Nextern’s CFO Brian Iacono. Nextern is looking to move in the summer of 2024 and will be leasing the roughly 110,000-square-foot space.
Endeavor started working on the addition to Arbor Lakes Business Park after purchasing the land in March. That same month, the Maple Grove City Council approved a $2.43 million tax increment financing agreement for the business park. Endeavor's founder, Josh Budish, has described the Arbor Lakes development as "truly modern," and touted its proximity to the large Arbor Lakes retail center. The project is located at the southeast corner of Fountains Drive and Zachary Lane, near Interstates 94 and 694.

The Minneapolis-based furniture maker Blu Dot is working with Endeavor Development on plans to relocate to a 744,000 square foot warehouse across the street from their existing location in Otsego.
The Minneapolis-based furniture maker Blu Dot is working with Endeavor Development on plans to relocate to a 744,000 square foot warehouse across the street from their existing location in Otsego. The modern-furniture maker went through a previous expansion about 5 years ago but once again needs a larger space for current and future operations according to Otsego City Planer D. Daniel Licht.
Otsego's Planning Commission approved plans for the first phase which includes the construction of a 401,544 square foot warehouse. The second phase will be submitted later and would add 343,200 square feet to the building. At the completion of the second phase of expansion, Blu Dot plans to employ 125 full-time employees.
“Pending City Council approval, work will likely start this spring on the first phase, said Josh Budish, founder and principal of Endeavor Development.”
